Day 10

We got more snow!!!!!

And yes, even home schoolers get snow days! ;)

It took a while, but Patty finally went out to play in the snow.

Day 9

Today after church I did not feel too well. My lips feels like someone drove a nail through it (ok, maybe it was a needle lol) and is pounding like crazy! Gabriella let me rest a little and decided to take my picture while I was asleep!

Day 8

So this morning Gabriella comes out of her room screaming "Mom, I think someone is dead! I see legs and everything!!!!!!" I'm half asleep trying to figure out what in the world she's talking about! Well it turns out she was talking about the hermit crabs...whew! So glad there wasn't a dead person in my house! Two of our hermit crabs molted, or shed their skin, last night. It was kind of gross, but interesting. Of course I had to remove the skin because Gabriella was not going anywhere near it. If you look at the long shell, you will see Hermie's skin hanging out. Lilly was the other one who molted. Surely this counts as Science or something? ;)

Day 7

Today Gabriella spent her free time working on crafts. She LOVES to do crafts!

Today we are getting back to the grindstone for school.

Day 5

I was not able to post anything yesterday so  I am doing it today! ;) Yesterday we babysat sweet Aden. We had a good day with him.

Aden was too busy flirting with Gabriella too eat! ;)

Day 4

I have not been feeling well for the past few days, so Gabriella decided to make me lunch in hopes that it makes me feel better. Not sure how my stomach will handle it, but it did make me smile! I have an awesome and thoughtful little girl!!!!

Day 3

Today Gabriella and I spent the day running errands and just spending time with each other. We met Shanie for dinner before the womens ministry game night at church. I found a heart shaped chicken nugget and thought it was neat. ;)

Day 2

I got a crock pot for Christmas this year, which I have been wanting for a while. for those of you who know me well, you know that I have not had any success with cooking a pot roast EVER!!!!! It always turns out like a piece of rubber! Well, today I tried it again with my new crock pot and it turned out soooo good!!!!! I am so excited! It was tender, juicy, and very tasty!

Day 1

Ok folks, here's the first post of my pic a day for 365 days! ;) Hopefully, I can keep this up! hee hee.  This picture was taken at a friends house where we had a bon fire for New Years Eve.  I love this picture! There's just something about being outside admiring God's creations with a bonfire and a cross in the background.
