DAY 96 How Do You Socialize Your Children?

I just saw this on my friend, Jennifer's page and thought it would clear up somethings about home schoolers. ;)

Day 95

We went to Sisa's house to help her pack up and get ready for her move. Well, we didn't get much packing done, but we did go to Petsmart and got her dog, Sugar, a huge bone! She was so funny with it. The bone is about as long as she is.

Day 94

I have seen this sign a few times and I laugh every time I see it!!! Gabriella has more friends and has become more sociable since I started homeschooling her. I think it is the best decision I have made in a long time!

Day 93

Today we went to the Heger's after church. While we were there we ran across all kinds of critters. ;) I so wish I lived out in the country without neighbors like they do! Here her kitty is trying to get ahold of a poor little lizard! :(

day 92

So apparently this whole blogging thing takes more time than I thought! LOL I have been slacking majorly! I have been taking pictures but have not been posting them. So I will do my best to catch up! ;) Today I saw a commercial with the "new" Strawberry Shortcake and it made me very sad. They have glamorized her all up. Made her skinny, longer hair, and given more fashionable clothes. I made me think about how everything is changing for children....Barbies, BRATZ, and other little girls toys. As if our girls don't have enough pressure to be skinny and pretty from magazines and commercials, now they are getting pressure from the "old school" toys. I think the older version of Strawberry Shortcake is just adorable and that is how I chose to remember her and how I chose to raise my own daughter on.

Day 91

Today Gabriella set up a "booby" trap for me. Its hard to see, but if you look closely so will see a reddish pink string. She was trying to do it without me noticing, so I just ignored her while she was setting it all up. She was so excited and waited all day to get me on it. Later on in the evening she was going to her play room and forgot all about the trap. She tripped and fell on her own "booby" trap!!!!!!! It was sooooo funny!!!!!!! She is a hot mess!!!! You gotta love her! Today is April Fool's day, so I guess the joke was on her! HAHAHAHA

Day 90

I love my sweet Patty boy! One of my favorite things about him has always been his ears. They are so soft and floppy. Today he fell asleep with his ear sticking straight up! I thought it was so cute!

He is getting so big!

Day 89

Can I get a little peace around here? ;) Today has been one of them days. Since we have not been babysitting for about a week now, Gabriella has been driving me crazy! ;) she really needs her "friend fix" this week. The cold and rainy weather has not helped much either. We MUST get out of this house and find a play date!

Day 88

Today I made egg salad from a chickens butt. HAHAHA I couldn't resist. Thank you Jennifer for the freshly laid eggs!!! I even got to use my Pampered Chef egg slicer for the first time! It's the simple things in life!

Day 87

Our little neighbor dog is determined to come over for a visit. Here is his latest attempt. He kept jumping up on the fence until the board finally fell down.

Unfortunately he is too fat to fit through there! Heh heh But Patty likes to visit him through the fence.
