Day 106

I forgot to post this picture earlier, but we finally got out pottery back from the women's ministry outing. Here is the plate I painted. It's cute, but a little too girly for me! LOL I'm not sure what I am going to do with it yet.

Day 104

Karina hosted a spring napkin swap. Gabriella and I were so excited to participate in this! We picked out our material and kept in a secret from everyone....that was very hard for me to do! We finally finished our napkins. Here are Gabriella's. She really did a great job! She picked out her own material and everything!

Here are mine! I absolutely LOVE this material!!!! I thought it fit me very well! I ended up buying the rest of this material that they had left. Be on the look out for the my next project with this material! ;)

Karina wrapped everyone's napkins up so pretty with a sweet little card and a hand sanitizer....my scent was especially picked out for me! Thank you Karina and Jennifer! I was so excited to see what everyone else did!

Day 103

Gabriella is all dressed up for Easter.

The rose bush Gabriella is standing next to has been pulled up by the roots several times and for some reason it keeps coming back! I think I'll just give up and keep it around! ;)

Day 102

Gabriella gave me another spa day. She is so sweet. She paint my nails all kinds of pretty colors and designs! ;)

Day 101

Today I was trying to clean up in a hurry and I shoved my plastic egg trays in the oven. Later on I went to preheat the oven for dinner and forgot all about my egg trays. :( So here is the end result. The lid melted and stuck to the tray.

Day 100

Karina and her girls came to visit for a month. We really enjoyed the time they spent here. There were two bad things about the visit though....one, she has already left :( and two, we really didn't take any pictures the whole time she was here. I'm not sure how that happened. The few pictures that we took were on a day that Karina made Lavender lemonade. All the kids had a turn at squeezing the lemons. ;) This one is of Trinity.

I'm not sure how I didn't get pictures of all the other kids doing this? Like I said I really slacked the whole time she was here on taking pictures. All the kids decided it was too much work to squeeze lemons and went back outside to play. The lemonade was....um.....interesting. I'm not sure I like lavender.

Day 99

We went to Chloe's birthday party today. She got a big box of nail polish and decided to open up her salon for the night. My favorite customer was her Uncle Lathan. ;)

She picked a very pretty color for him.

I'm sure Lathan cannot wait to go to work tomorrow and show off his nails.

Day 98

Gabriella is finally finishing up her pot holder she made me! ;) yay! She really has done well with learning how to sew.

We were sitting at the dinner table  and Gabriella all of a sudden says "There it is!" I looked at her a bit confused and asked her what she was talking about. We were eating tacos and some of her sour cream dripped out of her taco. I guess it took her a while to figure out where it landed! LOL She is a hot mess!

DAY 96 How Do You Socialize Your Children?

Day 95

We went to Sisa's house to help her pack up and get ready for her move. Well, we didn't get much packing done, but we did go to Petsmart and got her dog, Sugar, a huge bone! She was so funny with it. The bone is about as long as she is.

Day 94

I have seen this sign a few times and I laugh every time I see it!!! Gabriella has more friends and has become more sociable since I started homeschooling her. I think it is the best decision I have made in a long time!

Day 93

Today we went to the Heger's after church. While we were there we ran across all kinds of critters. ;) I so wish I lived out in the country without neighbors like they do! Here her kitty is trying to get ahold of a poor little lizard! :(

day 92

So apparently this whole blogging thing takes more time than I thought! LOL I have been slacking majorly! I have been taking pictures but have not been posting them. So I will do my best to catch up! ;) Today I saw a commercial with the "new" Strawberry Shortcake and it made me very sad. They have glamorized her all up. Made her skinny, longer hair, and given more fashionable clothes. I made me think about how everything is changing for children....Barbies, BRATZ, and other little girls toys. As if our girls don't have enough pressure to be skinny and pretty from magazines and commercials, now they are getting pressure from the "old school" toys. I think the older version of Strawberry Shortcake is just adorable and that is how I chose to remember her and how I chose to raise my own daughter on.

Day 91

Today Gabriella set up a "booby" trap for me. Its hard to see, but if you look closely so will see a reddish pink string. She was trying to do it without me noticing, so I just ignored her while she was setting it all up. She was so excited and waited all day to get me on it. Later on in the evening she was going to her play room and forgot all about the trap. She tripped and fell on her own "booby" trap!!!!!!! It was sooooo funny!!!!!!! She is a hot mess!!!! You gotta love her! Today is April Fool's day, so I guess the joke was on her! HAHAHAHA

Day 90

I love my sweet Patty boy! One of my favorite things about him has always been his ears. They are so soft and floppy. Today he fell asleep with his ear sticking straight up! I thought it was so cute!

He is getting so big!

Day 89

Can I get a little peace around here? ;) Today has been one of them days. Since we have not been babysitting for about a week now, Gabriella has been driving me crazy! ;) she really needs her "friend fix" this week. The cold and rainy weather has not helped much either. We MUST get out of this house and find a play date!

Day 88

Today I made egg salad from a chickens butt. HAHAHA I couldn't resist. Thank you Jennifer for the freshly laid eggs!!! I even got to use my Pampered Chef egg slicer for the first time! It's the simple things in life!

Day 87

Our little neighbor dog is determined to come over for a visit. Here is his latest attempt. He kept jumping up on the fence until the board finally fell down.

Unfortunately he is too fat to fit through there! Heh heh But Patty likes to visit him through the fence.
