Day 170

Gabriella is going to make a good little mommy one day! I came into the living room and she was using her arm sling as a baby carrier! Now I just have to get her used to the idea of cloth diapers!

Day 169

Unfortunately our little garden is not doing that well. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. But our sunflowers surely are growing tall! Hopefully we will at least get some seeds!

Day 168

We got new addition today!!!!! This lady on Craigslist was giving away a hermit crab for free so we went and got him. We all know I like FREE!!!!!

Not only did we get this little guy, we got a bag full of NICE shells, food, and some climby things for the tank!!!! We were so excited!

He likes to come out and visit a lot, so we named him Spunky! He is already getting used to his new home and is getting along well with our other crabs!

Day 167

The day has finally come!!!! Gabriella gets her half cast! She is so excited....can you tell?

Her mood quickly changed when she saw the machine that was going to cut her cast off. LOL

It's kind of like a little saw that cuts the cast open, but it will not cut your skin.

This whole process with the cast has been neat to see....well, at least for me. haha I am not the one who has to wear the cast. But I had no idea how they made the cast, etc.

Appearanlty her arm still hurts! I took a wipe to clean off her arm and was thinking that it was healing so it didn't hurt anymore. Boy was I wrong!!!!! OOOOPS!!!!!!!

She was mad at me most of the day for hurting her arm! :(

But at least her elbow is now free!

Putting on her new half cast. She thinks the cast stuff stinks! LOL

She went with purple this time!

Have I mentioned that I love this bundle of joy? ;) One day she will appreciate all these wonderful pictures I take of her!

Gabriella packed up a box to take to Sisa's so she would have some stuff to do. Well her dog, Sugar, was very interested in this box! She was so funny. She would stick her nose in there and just stare.

She would never take anything out of try to chew on anything. We tried taking things out one by one to figure out what she was so interested in, but we could never figure it out.

She's such a funny dog!

Day 165

We finally couldn't handle the heat anymore and went to Sisa's house to stay for a while! We are so thankful to have her as a friend and so thankful for her letting us stay there for a while!!!! The first night there we decided to fix Gabriella's favorite, corn on the cob!

After we all sat down to eat, we realized what a challenge it was going to be for her to try and eat it! Of course, I thought it was funny.....she did not! LOL

Here's her first attempt, which did not work so well. Her one arm was not strong enough to hold it up for very long.

Attempt number 2! She tried to rest the other side of the corn on her cast, but she couldn't get the corn close enough to her mouth!

By this time I am dying laughing!!!!! I LOVE THIS GIRL!!!!! She really makes the days interesting!

Attempt number 3. LOL She is a hot mess!

Finally she resorted to this! Way to improvise!!!! ;)

Day 164

Day 163

We went for a follow up and to take more X-rays or Gabriella's arm. She was so excited to get her cast off for a few minutes to clean and itch her arm after her X-ray. Well come to find out, she has one of the few doctors in that office that does not take casts off to do X-rays.

Poor Gabriella!!!!! :( She was not happy at all! Oh well, maybe next week! The good news is that her arm is healing well and she will not need pins! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!

Day 162

We came home today and there were flowers on our porch! Gabriella really has been spoiled with this broken arm! ;) These came from her "step" grandparents. They really have been great to her! She also got many cards, coloring books, bubbles, clothes and other things I cant even remember from various people! She is loved by so many!
