Day 86

Today we went with the Women's Ministry to Colors and Clay and painted some pottery. It was a nice relaxing girlie day. Here is Sierra painting her pig.

Trinity and Gabriella picked the same basket to paint. It was neat to see them paint with their different styles.

I picked a plate to paint...with butterflies of course! ;)

Shanie did a plate as well. She did awesome on her handwriting, so we nominated her to do the writing on ours as well.

There should be one more picture here, but Jennifer decided not to share that one with me! ;) She chose a plate as well. I cannot wait to get them back and see how everyone did!!!!

Day 85

There was a posting on Craigslist for free fabric scraps. The lady called us and said we could come pick it up. I was super excited! I'm always up for free stuff! And Gabriella can use the scraps to practice her sewing. The lady was super nice! She said we could come over any Friday and she would help us learn how to sew! Not only that, she gave Gabriella this cool hat that she made!

The design on the hat fits Gabriella to a "T"! I love this hat in her!

Day 84

I have some really awesome friends!!!!! For months now Gabriella has been saying she was saving her money up for an Ipod touch. I would just smile at her and say ok, thinking she would never be able to save enough money. For those of you, who know her well, you know that money burns a hole in her pocket!!! Well my wonderful friend, Jennifer made Gabriella a deal. She sold Gabriella her old Ipod touch for a very great price! Gabriella was sooooo excited, she didn't know what to do with herself!!!! She has been playing with it nonstop! Another great friend, Heather gave her a pink case to go with it!

Day 83

So, I found this awesome car freshener that fits me perfectly in so many ways!!!!!! First it is a butterfly, a purple one at that!!!! That has to be two of my most favorite things! Then it has my favorite Bible Verse on it!!!! 2 Cor 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: Old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new." And the name of our Homeschool is "New Creation Academy"! I was so excited to find this great car freshener! We opened it up and put it in the truck. Then it hit us!!! OMGoodness!!!!!! This thing stinks soooo bad!!!!! LOL In the midst of our gagging and coughing, we are patiently waiting for the smell to go away!

Day 82

Gabriella went to horse camp with the Homeschoolers today. She absolutely loved it!!! First they have to brush of the horses and get their saddle on them.

As you can tell, she is enthused about it! Haha

Gabriella rode Pepsi, which seemed to be a good fit for her. Pepsi was very calm and laid back!

Here Pepsi is all saddled up and Gabriella is walking him out (all by herself) to get some water.

Next they have to clean the stables out and feed the horses. She was not too happy about all the horse poo, but I thought it was quite funny!

Now she's ready to go!

She needed a little boost to get up there.

Gabriella was still a little skittish of the horses, but did very well. She went on her first trail ride, riding the horse by herself without someone walking the horse. I was so proud of her!!!!!!!

By the end of the day, she was walking around the stables like she owned the place! She hopped down off her horse by herself and took Pepsi by the harness and lead him back to the stables to take his saddle off. She really has come a long way! She cant wait to go back!!!!

Day 81

So I am just a little behind on my blogging! ;) I will update you on this past week, so be ready to read a few blogs. Monday was a very busy day for us. First we had Bible study, then a picnic lunch, and roller skating with Gabriella's Homeschool group. The kids had a good time skating and burned off some energy. Our last stop was Jennifer's house to celebrate her birthday and have game night. 

I don't know if you can see it well, but Gabriella spent most of her time crawling around on her hands and knees. LOL she is a hot mess!

Day 80

Gabriella has been bugging me for days to get Patty some frozen treats for his birthday. So, I know it's a little late, but we went to Walmart and found these!

They look like the little ice cream cups we got in school.

This didn't look very appetizing to me, but Gabriella was very intrigued by this. So......

Gabriella wanted to taste it!!!!! She convinced me that it was yummy. So, I got intrigued and had to try it too! LOL WHAT WAS I THINKING??????? It tasted like pure dog food, frozen! UGH! I don't even want to know what's in there.

Patty LOVED it! It was gone quickly!

I cant decide if Gabriella was trying to take it from Patty so she can have more or actually feeding it to him?

Patty loved it so much, that it made him sick! UGH! So, I have three more, if anybody wants them. heh heh Patty wont be eating anymore of them!

Day 79

Today we went off roading in the jeep with Jennifer. We had so much fun and it was the perfect day for it. Thank you Jennifer!!!!! Gabriella has been four wheeling before but never off roading in a jeep. She was unsure of what she was getting into. None the less, here she is buckled up and ready to go.

Jennifer is probably laughing because Gabriella has no idea what is in store for her today. LOL

Jennifer is checking to see how deep this rut is. It's a good thing she did, because I don't think we would have made it out of this one. No cell phone reception....heh heh

The Jeep was covered in mud....even on the inside. When Shane saw it he just smile, shook his head, and told Jennifer she had to clean the inside. LOL One of the puddles we went through smelled like rotten animal!!!!! UGH! The smell resurfaced when I took a shower and my hair got wet! GROSS!

This part of the woods had been burnt down. But one lonely tree was left standing. I thought it was funny looking that one tree survived.

The girls think they are big! We got out of the Jeep in went into Smithfields to eat and nasty, stinky, and muddy! We got some funny looks! ;)

 After we got home and she was done complaining about being dirty, she said she had a good time and wanted to know when we were going to do again...there may still be hope for her! LOL

DAY 78

Today Jhet and Mycah came over for some play time. Gabriella really enjoyed their visit. It was during the time where Jhet needed his cornstarch. Mycah and Jhet are such big boys!!!! Mycah was responsible for doing his cornstarch.

Jhet wanted to help out and put his tube in all by himself.
